The Vice President of Strategy/Business Development for a luxury resort in the Hawaiian Islands came to us for fresh ideas on how he could boost revenue. Revenue per room rate was decreasing industry wide based on the lack of travelers, so he knew he was not alone. What were his competitors doing? How could he get guests to spend more money? How could he convince owners to understand the need to put some capital back into their hotels?
